Let’s Talk About Color: Maroon

Maroon is one of those colors that can lean in a couple of different directions but usually it’s a dark purplish red. With the blue undertones, it doesn’t have the same warm feeling that a brick red has. But if you have a maroon house, consider warming it up with a solid oak door. The yellow tone in the oak will add warmth to the maroon and look smashing. You can use either maroon for the trim color or consider cream trim instead of white. The cream will add the warmth that maroon needs and, just like the oak, will look terrific!
