  • HI BARBARA, OUR HOUSE WAS BUILT 1965, ITS A BRICK RANCH WITH REDS AND TAN AND SOME BLACK BRICKS, WHITE SHUTTERS, THE ROOF IS GRAY, AND FOUNDATION AND GARAGE (ATTACHED) IS PAINTED NAVAHO RED. WE ARE ADDING AN ADDITION ON TOP OF GARAGE AND IM UNDECIDED OF WHAT COLOR VINYL SIDING TO GET. PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE. THANKS LESLIE

      Hi Leslie,

I suggest a rich camel/tan for your addition and paint the garage that color too. That will unify that structure. Then I suggest painting the foundation a concrete gray/tan that will take the focus off the foundation and put it on your brick. If budget allows, you might replace the white shutters with black.

      Hope that helps.
